MATIX: Mikey, your making your third movie. What does VIDEOGRASS stand for and or
what does it mean?
ML: Videograss is a video about what snowboarders want to do. Not about what filmers and team managers think snowboarders should do.
MATIX: How will this movie compare to Burning Bridges and Love Hate?
ML: No comparison will be necessary, these are two very different animals, all new editors, all new filmers, and almost all new riders that are being documented as who they are and what their riding is about.
MATIX: What are the main areas of focus in this film?
ML: To document the riders for what they want to ride, do and be. Also good music and good times, and definitely some gnar gnar shredding.

MATIX: Where has the crew traveled this season?
ML: Canada, USA, Lebanon, Japan, Europe, Russia
MATIX: Who is filming/editing the video?
ML: Main editor Justin Meyer (ex:TWS dude), Sean McCormck (Team Thunder), Jan Snarski (Awesome Aussie), etc.
MATIX: What will be the highlight of VIDEOGRASS?
ML: The f*@$%ing ripping riding and good times in there, good music finally again, and some creative real people making a new kind of video not recreating some old skate or snow video.
MATIX: Why did you decide to take a year off from making videos ?
ML: It was 2 years, and I did it because it takes time to get excited again. When I made the loveHATE and Burning Bridges videos with everyone and Shelby it was a full on, full time head and a full heart commitment. That wears away on you man, like that line in that stone temple pilots song "...to much tripping and my souls worn thin." hahaha I don't like that band, but that line always hit me in the head with some real truth in it.
MATIX: Where is the next trip planned for the crew ?
ML: Whistler and Quebec at the same time... But with different people.
MATIX: Anything else you would like to add?
ML: Yes, this video will be the only good one this winter, so don't f*@$% around and buy some canned corn.... Buy some grass.
