Matix Ambassador Anthony Anaya
Coach Anthony, Mr. Anaya…. If you are a 9 year old kid living in Santa Maria, Ca and are learning to skateboard, this is who Anthony Anaya is to you. Anthony was first seen skateboarding like most young skateboarders, with full pads and a helmet with a spiked Mohawk on it. What made him different was his natural style and ability to command his skateboard at such a young age. To this day Anthony still has this smooth effortless style on his skateboard that is so pleasing to watch. So enjoy the next few minutes of this amazing skateboarder and person. I introduce to you, my friend Anthony Anaya.

Past and present! We have a couple rad video updates to share with you.
The first is a heavy throw back to the days of old when skate brands recieved VHS tapes called "Sponosr Me" vids. Does anyone even remeber the VHS? Regardless, I know you rember our friend Marc Johnson! Check out his sponsor me vid that posted this week, what a gem!
Keepin it in line with the skate theme, we just recently started putting clothing on the back of Mr Frank Shaw who just dropped a ripping part on The Skateboard Mag
Last but not least, as the snow starts to melt and the warm weather is upon us, it is time to get back to the beach! Our friends at Drop Zone just put this edit together of our friend Mike Siorda, ripping waves right here in our backyard. Enjoy!
Fourteen-year-old Tate Kokubo is the epitome of what it means to have fun on your skateboard. Period. His take on skateboarding reminds me of the days of old when kids had no agenda about getting sponsored, how many views their YouTube page has, or who is going to hook them up.
Hailing from Arlington, Massachusetts, Tate has been taking a unique approach to shredding before the age of 10. He skates anything and everything around him, and he does it with a big smile on his face. At his young age, the sky is the limit , and he takes it all in stride. All he wants to do is skate, skate, skate and have a blast doing it. Matix appreciates his take on skateboarding and for that reason he is a true Ambassador of the Matix brand out here in New England.
Mike Anderson and some of the Krooked Skateboard crew headed to Korea for some good times and experimental dining. Enjoy the raw ripping!
The Ambleside Project - An initiative to redesign and contruct a modern waterfront skatepark where the exsiting one stands today.
We have collaborated with our distributor in Canada , Supra Distribution, to bring you Limited Edition Ambleside Surf Club apparel with all proceeds going to the Ambleside Skatepark Fund.
The History Of Ambleside
Nestled away in the suburbs of West Vancouver is a 2 decade old seaside skatepark, being one of the recreational amenities that Ambleside park offers. The skatepark was designed and built in the early 1990's, replacing a public swimming pool but, has since fallen behind the modern skatepark standards.
As it stands today, Ambleside Skatepark does not facilitate a modern and safe skatepark for the North Shore's youth, and is in need of a serious renovation.
Current State Of Affairs
As you can see the surface has deteriorated over time from the harsh sea air.
The obstacles have become dangerous for for public use.
